About

Saturday morning in Brooklyn, NY used to mean yoga and brunch for Bec and Zoe.  After spending too much money on mediocre-to-bad restaurant brunch, these hungry heroines amended their weekend tradition to cook imaginative meals at home.

Having since moved to two different cities (London, Ontario and Washington, DC), these two friends, together with Nina, Jess and Emma – partner, sister, and friend respectively – seek to continue their weekend rebellion against the $15.00 brunch.

Whereas:

The authors reside in new and foreign places;

Few and sometimes improper tools stand at their disposal;

Strangers may become friends at spirited tables;

We the People seek to create home, community and gratifying meals without the luxury or certainty of a picket fence.
